If you haven't ever been to Yellowtail-these pictures don't do it justice at all. This reservoir goes for miles upon miles. I think that where we docked was about 45 miles from where the actual dam was at. There are actual huge mile markers that are attached to the rock walls so that you can find your way out and to mark how far you are away from the dam. It is crazy how big this canyon is. Last year I was about 20 feet away from 2 Big Horn Sheep that came down for water, that's how tall these cliffs are. Pretty amazing.
