Instead of tiling "man land" we decided to "paint" it. We had helped my Mom and Dad do the same thing to their addition and it turned out great...looking like tile. After Richard painted the base coat, or grout line color, we had to tape it off , but of course the tape that came with the paint wouldn't stick to the cold floor so we had to use masking tape, but we only had 2" type. Soooo we had to cut the entire length of the edges so that the grout lines weren't so thick. Ugh. Then there was an entire process of mixing colors and blah, blah, blah. Well if anyone wants to know the details.....you'll have to figure it out too :)
